By walking with you on your journey, helping you through these times when the way is tough, I’m here to support and empower you on your journey. You do not have to face it alone. I’d like to help you! I have worked in a variety of settings helping individuals, and families experience emotional healing. I have assisted those struggling with a wide range of mood disorders, including trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, relationship problems, parenting problems, career and family challenges.

I have helped many people who experienced physical or emotional abuse or trauma. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral techniques which focuses on changing how we think that changes our emotions and behaviors. Hello, my name is Courtney Garcia. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master of Science in Business degree, and have recently completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree. I also have continuing education training in child trauma, Traumatic Brain Injury, combat care for military families, LGBTQI+ issues, justice advocacy, hoarding disorder, and psychological first aid. I am extremely humbled and honored to be working with a site that has passionate, educated, and experienced employees. In my current role as a Counseling Content Specialist, I aim to share my love of counseling through informative and supportive content that helps clients become the best version of themselves.

Outside of work, I am a mother and a wife. My husband is an Air Force veteran currently working in real estate, and my beautiful daughter, Arabella, is 10 months old. In our spare time, we love playing with our 3 dogs and spending time with our family.

WIth this Morgan has an unique understanding of self expression and mindfulness and the unique qualities of how physical mediums and movement can assist in holding space for emotion in a therapeutic and non-therapeutic setting. Morgan became a therapist after a first hand experience of grief and utilizing art to process in conjunction to therapy. Morgan is passionate in assisting clients find their form of expression and developing coping skills that work in a practical manner for each individual. While the creative process is a passion of Morgans, she utilizes Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Narrative therapy, and Mindfulness Based CBT. Morgan is committed to assisting clients of all populations and ages and has experience working with child and adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples.
